A standalone four-storey office building is being brought back to life as part of the regeneration of West Bromwich.
In recent years the city centre has undergone one of the largest regeneration programs in the West Midlands with hundreds of millions of pounds invested in several projects.
Experienced real estate developers Bramham Properties and HCT Homes have a solid track record of delivering quality residential developments and are now undertaking a project to revive the old Unite building, known as the Transport House.
Transport House, which has secure parking at the rear, was acquired with a building permit under the development rights authorized to convert the office building into 37 residential units.
Bramham Properties and HCT Homes are working with Sandwell Council to increase the number of salable units to 45. These units range from studios, one bedroom and beautiful duplexes.
Birmingham based Detail has been appointed to the redevelopment of Transport House in West Bromwich. They say that the Victoria Street building is full of potential and will undoubtedly be an asset for the sector. It is in the city center regeneration area and Transport House is one of the many projects underway in West Bromwich.
Located on Victoria Street, the former office building is close to the town centre and a short walk to the Metro line, bus station, and other key amenities. Work to refurbish and develop the building is expected to complete in 2022.
Bramham Properties and HCT Homes have completed several join ventures and say they make sure homes are energy efficient with materials being as responsible as possible.

The proposed extension will deliver an additional eight homes across two further storeys in a mix of one and two-bedroom apartments.
The landmark building was acquired by Bramham Properties in January 2021 after being placed on the market in 2019. The total investment value for the project is anticipated to be around £5m.

The redevelopment will be called Transport Works.
