Manish Bhasin returns as host of this year’s BYSA Gala Charity Dinner

It has just been announced that Manish Bhasin will be hosting this year’s BYSA Gala Charity Dinner on Friday 21st June 2019 at Aston Villa Football Club.

Birmingham Youth Sports Academy (BYSA) was established in 2002 as a voluntary organisation and has received funding from a number of organisations in order to offer football coaching to young people aged 6-18.

This June, they will host their 6th Annual Gala Charity Dinner with over 500 guests expected and are looking forward to Manish returning as host for a second time.

After 14 years as a regular anchor for BBC TV in the UK, Manish is now globally recognised as the face of the Premier League, broadcasting to over 500 million viewers worldwide every week.

As host of ‘Matchday Live’ Manish fronts live coverage of Premier League games on sports network across India, America, Canada, Africa and Australia, working alongside legends such as Peter Schmeichel and Ryan Giggs.

At just 27, he was the youngest regular presenter of BBCs Football Focus before fronting the channel’s Football League Show for 6 years.

In his spare time, the passionate Leicester City fan and keen golfer is an ambassador for Prince Charles’ British Asian Trust charity (which raises money for causes in South East Asia) and is often seen playing cricket for ‘The Lords Taverners’ children’s charity.
