Lasan’s British Curry Award 2008
The British Curry Awards is the biggest event in the curry calendar. For the second year running Lasan restaurant walked away with the British Curry Award – West Midlands regions, at a stunning ceremony at the Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane in London.
Delicious PR secured a news story on ITV Central News. Chef Director, Aktar Islam, was interviewed for a news item which was broadcast on the 6pm and 10.30pm bulletin.
The Birmingham Post printed a feature on Lasan’s win and the region’s curry market. Birmingham Mail published a half page colour news story. Heart FM broadcast a news item for the peaktime 5pm and 6pm news bulletins.
